Job Description: Quidnessett Country Club is a private, 18-hole club located on Narragansett Bay. The course was designed by Geoffrey Cornish in 1959.
Experience: Prior golf course experience in a management role. Applicant must have knowledge of irrigation, chemical and fertilizer applications and daily course set-up.
Duties:
- Staff management and leadership
- Hands on with daily tasks
- Fertilizer and chemical applications
- Water management
- Irrigation
- Understanding all aspects of course management and set-up
- Work closely with superintendent to achieve agronomic goals
Special Requirements: Must be motivated, have an excellent eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Must have good communication skills with a positive attitude. Applicant must be able to obtain a Rhode Island Pesticide License and have a valid driver’s license.
Education Level: Turfgrass management degree or certificate preferred but not required.
Salary and Benefits: Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, dental, 401K, and paid vacation.
